Several people have them, Grabber5.0 and 71Gold come to mind. I know Frank (71Gold has a pic in his gallery.

I have seen many cars with them. I would watch out for clearance on that high vent tube...

What's it going to hit, the hood? :biglaugh: Hopefully it will clear my A/C compressor... The only thing I don't like about them is there is no baffle under that tube, so I get oil venting at high rpms. Someday I'm going to pull the valve cover and put a baffle on there.

I was thinking about it hitting the air cleaner, monte carlo or shock tower braces, those kinds of things...

I was looking at that pic of your engine.. it might hit your monte carlo bar. It's not anywhere close to the air cleaner, and as long as you run your pcv on the passenger side, it won't go near the tower brace. Not sure how close it would be.. I don't have tower braces to test it out with. :D

I have a set from Auto Krafters, for my comet that say comet. But there are two things I do not like about them. The oil spout is too long and I do not like the metal pieces on top of the covers that are to hold a bracket for your spark plug wires,if you take them off a hole will be there.

motor_original.jpg They are made by "Scott Drake" and are high quality. I have roller rockers so I used the xtra thick Felpro gaskets to lift them a bit for piece of mind. I got mine from Maverick Connection on Ebay, get the matching breather with them.

We also have the Comet valve covers in our eBay store. The quality and fit is excellent and many MCCI club members have them. They clear most roller rocker applications. They do have the little L bracket for mounting a spark plug wire loom, and the looms will now fit both 7mm and 8mm wires. The looms and the breather cap are also in our eBay store. Email me direct if you'd like some additional pictures or information.
