Hey, does anyone know where to get those two rubber eyelets that the bottom of the grill slides into? Mine are so dry that they are just crumbling. I blame the wonderful UV rays here in the west.
I would try an Autozone's "HELP!" section, I stocked some assorted rubber grommets last week, some of them in the pack looked like they'd fit into that hole!
Tony, you might check the small bins Ace Hardware has with all the little grommets and stuff. Not sure where else you might try. If I find any I'll let you know. If you find some let me know.
In a pinch...try the hardware section of a Lowes...they actually have a large selection of hard to find stuff in those big drawer-bin racks. I've found a lot of things there when in a bind. Might not be concourse...but it will work just the same.
I bought mine N.O.S. from Green Sales. Auto Krafters also has them listed. I think AMK is now repoping them.
For anyone ordering these...when I ordered them I ordered two thinking that they were individual parts and as it turns out they come in a package of two. So long story short I've got a pair of spares. But at $1.50 a pair they were very reasonable. Shipping was $9 though! LOL
I knew the shipping was going to kill you. I should have ordered a set as I have a shipment coming from them. Oh well. I'll try to remember next time.
Yea! I order the small stuff - when I have to order enough to make shipping cost not too painful. I usually make a list, hang it up, add to it when I think of something I need/want and order it.
