Bench Seat Measurements

Anyone know the measurements of a 2door bench seat? I need to figure out if it will fit in my Kia Soul that Im driving 16hr to pick up TOMORROW! Yeah, advance planning is not my strong suit.

 

OK then What does it take to remove the top from the bottom of the seat?

 

A big screwdriver or pry bar

 

how are they bolted together? Just screws over by the hinge?

 

I have one closer thats already broke down!

 

well Im not gonna back out on the guy now. How did you break it down?

 

I remember pulling screws out from under the side covers but i don't remember how i done the center section. Maybe someone else would know. I'm at work so i can't go look at it.

 

I think they was a spring clip that has to be removed after you remove the trim cover. Then pry the back of the seat off the pivot

 

YOU ARE CORRECT!

 

Remove the plastic hinge covers on the sides and pull the pins. Then pull the pins in the middle between the seat backs (under the little flap of vinyl).

 

Incase anyone wonders...yes a front bench seat will fit in the back of a kia soul

It fitted in my 03 focus svt i folded the back seats and the passanger set

 

Nope. Just laid it down on its back and it fit just fine.

 

not to thread jack but does anyone know of a more modern bench that fit the front...I was thinking s-10 possibly??
