In the top right hand corner of the forum, there is a search box to search for different forum content such as posts, threads, resources and gallery media. There is no minimum word length and relevancy ordering can be selected on the advanced search page. The forum search engine also uses a stemming analyzer which separates words based on spaces, some punctuation and reduces words to their root. This allows a search for "tests" to automatically match results for "test", "testing", "tested", and other similar words. The search box is context sensitive and search options will vary depending on where you are located in the forum when you click on the search box. Regardless of where you are located in the forum there will always be an option to search by member(s), date and to navigate to the advanced search. Sub Forums While in a forum (for e.g.: General Maverick/Comet), the search box will have an additional option to search only in the current forum. This option is enabled by default. Threads While in a thread, the search box will have an additional options to search only the current thread and/or the current forum. This "search current forum" option is enabled by default. Resources While viewing a resource, the search box will have an additional option to search only resources. This option is enabled by default. Media Gallery While in the media gallery, the search box will have an additional options to search for only media or to search in the current category. Advanced Search Click on “More…” perform an advanced search. The advanced search allows you to refine your search by searching for specific content (e.g. tags) and search results can be returned by date or relevancy.
Maybe I dont understand your question. Why do you need to find your 102 post? If you know the content of the post, you can find it with the advanced search.
I don't know the content...I was just wondering what I was asking/saying back that earlier in my Maverick days. like"what was my first post".
You can indirectly find it by performing an advanced search with your member name as the only criteria. Then go to the last page of the search results and then click on "find older messages". Repeat until you find your desired posts.
Im working on an advanced search solution to improve search results. It may be able to help you find what you are looking for.
