I replaced the stock Carter YF carburetor with a Weber. The Weber has a an electric choke, the Carter had a "choke stove". I seem to recall that I saw somewhere that the electric chokes on some Fords connected to one of the wires on the alternator. I do have the ability to run a wire across the engine compartment to the relays that I wired in for the electronic ignition & electric fuel pump, but I was hoping to keep the wiring simple and neat. Any information? Thanks!
yes, and it's also variable in voltage depending on engine rpm. so the choke opens slower in the city and quicker on the highway...
