    I bought a 1974 Ford Maverick
    Need help finding parts. suprise!
    I'm looking for Windows channel rollers , please help

    well 771, since you have a '74 will they work?
    novice at repair/restoration but that is why I got a maverick was to learn and rebuild one of my favorite cars

    My rollers were still useable so I didn't replace them. Here's a pic of the original roller and it looks like the replacement roller to me.

    These are what we used in the 80's for the channel roller. Make sure the channel is well greased.

    You really only have 3 options at this time, find a NOS/used pad, buy a cap, or recover your existing one.

    Caps are nice some people dont even notice and they are a heck of a lot easier to install. Any thing you find whether it be NOS or used will be old and possible prone to cracking. 1 other alternative is Just Dashes but they want an arm and leg to do one, you might be able to have an upholstery shop make a cover for it
