About 2-3 weeks ago I found some bucket seats on Craigslist they were in a 71 mustang coupe. I had to drive a good ways but for $25 each (with tracks) I could not pass it up. So I decided to paint them Saturday. I washed them with warm soapy water and a sponge. I then dupli-color prep and dupli-color gloss black "vinyl & fabric" rattle can stuff. I am pretty amazed on how they turned out. Now I guess I will see how long it will last. See pics. Thanks. Jerry D IMG_0576.JPG IMG_0573.JPG IMG_0578.JPG IMG_0581.JPG

That was a great deal, they look to be in really good condition. The standard bucket tracks for Mavericks are about 3 inches tall.

Hey those look really good, great score. Dont know how high the Mustang tracks are but the Maverick highback tracks are about 3" tall like Maverocket stated but the LDO tracks are a lot lower so if you are a tall person they would be a better fit but you have the tracks so just make them fit to your liking, just have to make some stands to go under one side of the tracks on each seat which are 1 1/2" tall at least that is how tall they are on my cars

They turned out great! I gave a set of beige 4dr buckets to a friend of mine and he sprayed them with the same product. They have stood-up very well. I was amazed at how nice they turned out.

Get a set of Maverick seat tracks and you are there. The Mustang seat tracks won't even be close to working for you. I have seen enough of those to know. But you can sell those tracks for more than $25 .... ;)
