    Hello all!

I just bouht a maverick out in Colorado and had it shipped to me in Indy. Super excited to get it and get working on it. It only has 15k miles, so it's pretty new.

I have a question about a piece on the interior. On the passenger side just below the dashboard (on the wall) there is a rectangle about 2"x4" opening. I looks like something click into place there to cover the opening. As I'm driving it let's in a TON of air, so trying to see if anyone knows what kind of part that is, or if i need to custom print one. Thaks for any help!

Welcome to the site from north of you in Lafayette. I have a '72 also and I think what you may be looking for is a fresh air vent door. Craig Selvey, the Indiana chapter president of the Maverick/Comet Club International, should be able to help you out as he parts out Mavericks and Comets. Craig@MaverickCorral.com

    Welcome from Indiana as well.

Sounds like you are missing part of the vent. There should be a vent handle over there to close the vent.

Post up some pictures of your new ride.
