I am concerned about supporting the car on the pinch welds.

Never use pinch welds. Assuming car is structurally sound....

Rear, use the forward section of rear spring perch mount.

Front, use the torque boxes or reinforcement rail next to it.

I don't have any experience with the EZ lifts but we have the similar Quick Jacks and exclusively use their pinch weld blocks. Never had any issue raising or supporting the car with that system and have left the car on the jacks for months at a time. I spent 44 years in the collision repair business. Every modern frame/structural repair system I ever used captured the rocker pinch welds as the basis of raising and holding unibody cars during structural pulls involving tens of thousands of pounds of force. I see absolutely no issue with raising these cars or any unitized car for that matter using the rocker pinch welds as long as the car is solid. If the rockers are rusty then you need to use a different method all together.
