IMG_3732.jpeg I have been looking for the other pair of 15” ansens for over a year now and I have finally given up. I just bought a set of magnum 400s as they seemed to be the easiest and most likely to not cause issues . Car is a 6cyl, 1970. What is the best size that will fit the rim and car and give a good look? Loads of opinions on here. It seems like 205/70 is what I am finding . I currently have 205/70 on my stock steel wheels, but theu look dumb because the wheel is only 4.5” wide. These new wheels are 6”, so maybe they would look right ?

Just my .02 cents but I would think 205 or 215 should fit without trouble.

I have a set of 15 inch Magnum 400s on my 72 6 cylinder with 215-65-15 Cooper cobras and I like the set up quite a bit. Looks like they make them in 215-70-14. If you like RWL tires could be a good choice. If you have the original driven gear for the speedometer cable then you will probably need to change it to keep the speedometer accurate.

    205/70-14.
But you should really upgrade to 15-inch wheels & tires...

    Too short. Especially the 215.
When I had 14-inch wheels, I ran 235/60. They are 25 inches in diameter...

Trying to find 14" white wall is like finding a grain of salt in a bucket of sand, and when you do find them you'll have to sell your first born for them

That's because they're lame and nobody wants them. Makes no sense to produce something there is nearly no market for...

Try Belle Tire if ones in your area, if not they probably can ship. I have General on my 7" Factory Mag 500 wheels. I love the General Tires, quiet and good ride. I think rear are 225/70's
