Alright guys, need ideas for a cam. stock '83 351w - 600cfm 4bbl - headers - "soon to be" ported 58.2cc 302 heads - stock 300 rear with a mini-spool - I would like a rough idle - I don't intend to take the car to the track, just want to do some red light to red light stuff. Smoke the tires occasionally and scare the hell outa those little bastards screaming around in their little "lawnmower on crack sounding" imports !! Thanks, Darrel

I can't say I don't like the little cars. For gas mileage and regular point A to point B driving sure. And I don't mind the dressed up ones. It's the ones with that god awful sound that drive me insane !!! And if it's not the muffler it's the damn THUMPING speakers ! Guess I'm just getting crotchety in my old age .

Extreme Energy XE262H 35-238-3 Lift: .493" int/.500" exh Dur @ .050: 218 int/224 exh LSA: 110 degrees XE268H 35-242-3 Lift: .510/.512 Dur @ .050: 224/230 LSA: 110 degrees Install either one 4 degrees advanced and you should be "good to go" in the Stop Light Grand Prix. I'm sure there are others but I just happen to have a Comp book handy. You might want to check the Speed Pro and TRW catalogs to see if they have comparable grinds (they do) that will save you some money.
