    Hi guys

I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find it.

My new springs seem to have a bigger eye than stock. I'we got new spicer shackles and bushings and the bushings are too small.

The spring eye is about 26mm (slightly more than a inch) and the diameter of the bushings 25mm (slightly less than a inch). My guess is that the correct bushings for these springs are 1 1/16" (about 27mm).

My question is where can I find the right bushings (partnumber)?
What car are these bushings from?

This weekend I testfitted one shackle to a leaf, and guess what it's a perfect fit.

The combined width of 2 bushings is a little wider than the spring and when the shackle is bolted together the soft rubber bushings expand into the spring eye.

The shackle can be moved about 30 degees forward and backward twisting the rubber bushing, but the bushing does not move in the eye.

I bought the springs from Laurel Mountain Mustangs and the shackles and bushings are 4" long Spicer from Rockauto.
