choping up the hood?

well i was wondering if enybody has ever cut a hole in there comet hood to make the original gt scoop functional? plus if you could how tall of a k&n filter can you fit?pluss is there a pic floating around of it?

i have a maverick but i think i have just about the same setup your talking about

i think it actually is a GT scoop on my car but the hole under it is 13ins across

 

i was wonderen about a comet because of the hood bulg? but gt scoops look cool on stock mav hoods too.

 

Here is what I did with my car it is a Maverick hood with a comet scoop.

integrity?
