when i brake slowly, or normal, the brake pedal goes to the floor and my brake light comes on, when i brake quickly...the brake pedal grabs and u can press it slowly and the brakes work normally...what is wrong, do i need a new master cylinder?

Either you have air in your lines or you need a new master cylinder. Also, check inside wheels to see if brake fluids are leaking from the brake cylinder.

If the pedal sinks to the floor but your not losing any fluid the internal seals in the master cylinder are leaking.

Master cyl will do that. The little junker Toyota I bought a couple of weeks ago does the same thing. someone had put motor oil in it, contaminating the system and ruining the master. I seem to have gotten lucky in that it didn't seem to get any further than the master before I got a hold of it.
Sucked it out of the Master, flushed with denatured alcohol and bled and flushed most of a gallon through the system. Seems to have worked except for the master itself.

Any leak on your brakes is a big leak, no matter how small.
