just few pics of my buddy John's '75 Maverick. It's a 351C/4speed. This is who I purchased my car from, really the only other Mav/Comet around here. His late brother built both of our cars and this one we just got through repainting black. It has a MII frontend under it. Notice the hood/grill and scoop. Look familiar. That's actually the scoop that was factory on mine but they thought they needed something on the hood to draw attention from the BIG bumpers. This thing runs and drives like a dream. Nice and smooth, quiet, no squeaks, would definitely recommend one of these frontends. Yes, that is a goat in the background. It's mean and stupid. Tears it's little house down, half eats it and sits in the rain like an idiot. Hope ya like , Dan
nice car. there are lots of comets and mavs in north carolina i spent 3 years looken for em. i was in goldsboro at the time. could you ask him where he got that steering wheel?
I'll ask him about the steering wheel, they call them Sport Wheels, he's supposedly got the car sold and the guy who's buying it hates the steering wheel. Said that was the first thing he's changing. I personally think those are the best looking wheels. Mine's like that but missing the horn button. Hoping to buy it for about $10
John's brother sure did. He passed away a few years ago. John and me never know what were gonna find in our cars. He was bad to fabricate things and use parts from all different cars. This was an older man that never had a computer or way of researching parts or ways of doing things. Got his torch and welder and went to it
When I bought my Maverick, the previous owner had a set of mirrors like that on the car. They have them at Advance Auto Parts. $20
