grabber hood

    Does anyone know if a 71 grabber hood will fit my 75 maverick?? I found one in my area pretty cheap...Mark

    The hood has one small ding in it and the guy want 100.00 and it even has the lip moulding on it, Is this a good deal??? ill probably buy it but may not use it depending on if it alligns right,the only reason why i contemplate is i spent alot of time getting my current hood straight, I had pushed the fenders back 1/4 inch to get my door gaps real nice thus i had to bend and bondo the hood lip so all would match up...and it looks real good,getting ready for paint,,But i do agree the grabber hood does look sweet...Mark

    100 bux is a steal nowadays.

    You can't get them for a Benjamin anymore unless they are just a big rust flake shaped like a Grabber hood.

    Yes...jump on it even if you don't use it. If the hood isn't rusted out it'll bring $300-$500 easy...maybe more depending on overall condition.

    I just got it only one dent that is very fixable and light surface rust only, after looking at it i wish i would of considered the grabber hood a long time ago....They are cool looking...Mark

    Yea its kinda shameful looking right now all in primer, all my $ went into the power train somewhere around 10,000 and that just parts...ill get it together one of these days...I guess it doesnt help that i got two other projects going on and working full time to boot..Mark
