Saw this Maverick and Comet there in the for sale coral The Comet is VERY nice, and was $17,500.oo. The Maverick was $9,000.00. As usual, the only parts I saw were tail lights, and bent headlight bezels.
great looking cars.... I am starting to see higher asking prices on our cars.. If your selling thats great but if your buying oh boy ! but really a lot of guys do put a bunch of money into these cars, and like it was said before in most cases you can't build one for that price... I've been to Moultrie,Ga. My ex inlaws lived there....
Me and Jimmy and his brother Johnny was there Friday. I didn't see any Maverick parts. I saw this 4-lug Maverick when you first walk in the main gate. It looked ok untill you got closer. They was another Maverick racecar in the car coral that had "Half Breed" on the tail panel
I didn't see a price but MY fishing car is in better shape. Next time I'm going on Sunday. I think the price of parts will be cheaper. I'm thinking the vendors will have "loading this stuff back on the truck" on there mind instead of "gonna get rich this weekend". I saw some Falcon parts I could use but the seller thought they were made of gold...$125 for a very rusted window regulator...PullaPart wants $15, Johnson's gets $25. I think the vendors been watching Barrett Jackson too long.
Yep , I didnt take a pic of it `cause I think it has been posted here before . It looks like it will always be for sale.
This year was Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Don't know about next year yet. They might switch it back to Thursday-Saturday again
