I had one installed on a car. The lines are wider and thicker than a factory set-up...so you can feel them. It did work very well.
Tinting the windows would be out of the question if you install it. They usually run too hot and the tint won't seal around the lines. If you're not tinting them, I say give it a shot. They look to be fairly reasonable and you're not out a lot of money if it doesn't work.
I tinted the windows on my car that had this. Worked fine...no burns...but the lines were very visible.
Seen them installed. Work well but like mentioned the lines are pretty thick and visible. Lines are much bigger than factory set ups look.
