Fun day at a local show.

Got my old car out and cruised it around town yesterday. Won a nice little plaque and made some good parts contacts and met some nice folks. Its amazing what attention a maverick gets at these shows.

Congrats! I know I tend to look at the less popular vehicles when I go to shows.

 

Nice. I sure get tired after about 2 rows of Mustangs at a show. I like to look at different cars.

 

I've noticed that people tend to skip the Mustangs, Camaros, and Corvettes, and go to the other cars first, bodies that you don't see much anymore like Mavericks. I tend to go to the street rods and rat rods first, looking for ideas for mine, then go to the lesser known and seen cars.

Thanks fella's, i have to agree the same ol mustang comaro shows get old.

 

Not to hijack your post, Sat. our Police Dept. had a show in our Park 20 some cars, the Mav. got alot of looks, people stoped and talked, had a good time, mostly 50's cars, got award for best custom was really happy.
