I always check ebay for the Deluxe gas cap, but they always go for more than I want to spend. A few days ago I found one on ebay in good condition that had two bids on it, was at like $12 and was ending in about four days. The seller only had thirty-something feedbacks, so I knew he was pretty new and I don't believe he had any other car parts, so I thought maybe he just happen to come across the cap. I sent a message asking if he wanted to sell it to me or add a "buy it now" feature to his listing, but I never mentioned a price. I didn't hear back from him, so I thought no big deal. Then yesterday he sent me a message back saying he would sell it to me for $25. Obviously, I immediately sent him a message back saying "you've got a deal". I paid him, he took it off ebay and shipped it out to me today. Should I feel guilty that I got it for that cheap, when we all know it would have went for more on ebay and was worth at least double that? Or should I be OK with it because he suggested the price and must have been OK with it himself? :hmmm:

He can Do his homework before he lists an item just the same as any of us. Its not hard to get an idea of an items worth ahead of time. Obviously he wasnt to concerned about it.
    Good for you.

I only shop on ebay when I can get something at a steal price.

This year I've only spent $260 on ebay, but I wouldn't hesitate to value what I got at $2,000.

25 bucks to buy more crack, I'm sure he's happy. I bought one last weekend for 40 bucks, then found 5 bucks, I don't feel guilty.

OK, you guys are making me feel better. I just don't want to feel like I took advantage of anyone. Like Darren said "he can do his homework". :) The truth is, I always do my homework before I sell on ebay and I have sold a little bit(almost 800 positive feedbacks).

You should see what I'm looking to buy in 14 hours. There's an Album that is appraised at $1,000. And I've personally seen two sell for $600 and $1200.

The last time it was listed it didn't sell. And they were only asking $25 for it.

This time It has one bidder, but I bet I can score it under $30.
    My limit is actually $60.

The reason it's not getting any activity is because the seller listed the band name wrong, I hope I get it though :D

And I wont feel guilty at all!

I was going to ask you who the band is, but figured you wouldn't tell until after the auction.

Dang!!! Dont pay any attention to Don! He's like 100 years old and senile so he doesn't think before he speaks sometimes. Just go ahead and send the rest of us the $5 and skip that old fart.
    Oh...awesome deal! Feel good!!!

You think I don't use bidsniper also :D

    That I will (y)

I was worried that it was a Fake, but it all checks out.

I asked the seller to send me pictures and it has the correct track listings and the copyright marks.

Looks legit! The only issue is that it's in Sweden.

To tell you the truth I'd pay up to $50 for a reproduction just because I've always wanted this version. :)
