hello i am a new member my name is tim. i just purchased a very clean 1972 maverick. the owner before me started to do some work on the car and ended up going back to school. i want to make a real nice pro street car. i am trying to find out who makes a rear kit for these cars. i want to do the work myself so i am looking for someone who has done this with a maverick and can give me some insight on the best kit and where to purchase it. i really dont want to put a roll cage in the car if i dont have to. this car will be more for looks, not a all out race car. i would like to find a outlet for parts and rearend kit or a complete pro street package. thank you tim

    pro street kit

what i am looking for is a 4 link or even a ladder bar kit with frame rails and rearend. i see them for chevelles and other cars all the time. some of the kits are already welded up you just have to give the company your make and model and they build it to specs. i just cant find a company that offers this for the maverick. i would really like to find someone who has recently completed a pro street maverick and can tell me what they used and where they got the parts. thank you

i suspect that if you call any of the companys that offer specific kits and ask them for a kit for a mav they will have it. kits for 60s and 70s mustangs should work also. they may want you to take some measurements but defintly should be able to put a kit togther for you
