    I found a few parts locally at a private Mustang junkyard and the fellow wanted me to price the items. I don't like doing that, but I need the parts so I thought I would ask here what the pieces have been going for. I have searched on the Forum, but it seems when a deal is struck, it is usually by PM or email and I couldn't find the sale prices. I don't want to pay too much, but I also want to be fair.
    The parts are for my 72 2dr. The interior pieces are the color I need.
    Here's the parts and condition;
    1) Back seat, both pieces, in excellent condition.
    2) Both interior door panels and arm rests, all in excellent condition.
    3) Both visors, good condition.
    4) Spoiler and end caps, the trunk piece of the spoiler is cracked pretty badly and also has a hole knocked in it. It will require quite a bit of work.

    Moderator, please move this if it's in the wrong place. :)
    Thanks, Dan

    I`ll jump in first. Not that this is what you should offer but this is what I sold similar parts for.Seat both halfs $60, armrests $30pr, doorpanels $60pr ,visors $25pr, nice rear wing and caps $150.Color of parts and were you live will change prices.But at a yard go low .If he is easy to deal with you should be able to work out a price. Unless he watched ebay or that auction thing everyone talks about.Good luck

    If i was buying for myself to use, I'd offer around $150 for all of it.

    frank,
    dont take it too personal, i saw guys at the knotts show that had the hood open to engines that were dirty and more oily than the 390 in my high boy after jumping a mud puddle. also walked by two mustang owners discussing the "value of investing in musclecars". did the person making the comment even have an old collector car he could drive on a regular basis? my money is on NO(y)

    Sorry I haven't responded sooner, Tom. I've been behind a paintbrush and roller since Friday after work. Just now finished.

    No, no Comet parts at all, just 3 Mavericks and about 50 Mustangs. I keep my eyes peeled for Mavericks and Comets at all times, I've never seen a Comet in this part of the country.
