    Just kiddin!

I NEED FREE MAVERICK PARTS! i'd post this is the free or wanted section but it really about this:

i need actual cut up maverick parts. yeah you heard me! CUT UP MAVERICK parts! i know some of you guys out there have torn apart cars and junked them! Craig? Dennis?

    what i'm looking for is:

    1. 69-73 rear RT and LT 1/4 pannels all i need is the corner where the end caps go.

    2. the part right where the Rt and LT boomarangs mount i just need that one section.

i think you are all getting the picture now right?

well i wanna use these so i can check fitment eaiser on each peice i make. like the boomerangs and grabber endcaps... i getting sick of matching them up with my car pulling them on and off.

again i'm just looking for those sections cut of a car. i mean it can be just that small section of the car a foot x 1 foot. i know lots of you guys go to junk yards and also have access to high powered tools to cut up stuff.

again this would really help me get these items to fit as close to stock all the time.. would someone be able to donate their time on this? i'll pay shipping!

    please let me know!

    thanks

Derrick, could'nt you just make a fixture for this stuff? Get a part that you know is straight and make a "check fixture" to verify the others. :2cents: Jamie

fixture? you mean make my own mold without the getting the orginal? if so no way will i do that! it won't come out right i would rather dupe the orginal and get it as close as possiable.. less problems this way!

Basically, you would just need to make a jig with go/nogo's (stops) and stud/bolt locations on the contours. If you start with a good part, then you should be able to dupe the part a check it in a fixture. Maybe I'm confused about what your looking for but I think it could be done with out the car. Reverse engineering:bouncy: . I think Jay and I may be able to help you. If so shoot me a pm. Jamie

yes i am but not to sure how these are going to come out. these are going to be bent not molded since these aren't going to be pot metal like the OE ones.
