Hi I am to the group. Just got a Maverick 1970 and am currently renovating it. Will post pics later. I need to order some parts. Can you provide any good sites or catalog places that I can contact to order the parts.

Basically I need the carpet, the weatherstrips and some other stuff.

I am from Puerto Rico so those items are difficult to find here.

Also if there is anyone from Houston that can tell me of a store that I can go since I will be traveling in June.

    thanks
    Freddy

The only catalog for Maverick parts that I know of is AutoKrafters. You can go to thier website to order a catalog from them. www.autokrafters.com .

Kanter Auto Products has rebuild kits for a lot of different older cars including Mavericks and Comets. Call 800-526-1096 for their catalog, or go online at www.kanter.com.

You could subscribe to Hemmings Motor News, PO Box 100, Bennington, VT, which has tons of ads for all kinds of stuff for all kinds of older vehicles.

Ebay is a good source for parts, but getting pricy and not always reliable. Of course you can post a Wanted to Buy message on this forum. Good luck finding what you are looking for.

Fenders and doors are not reproduced. You can either search for NOS or find the parts used. Put an ad in the parts wanted section of the forum.
