I was reading the post about the purple Mavericks and someone mentioned the "Statutory Grape" color, so I plugged it into google to see what I could find about it. A article from Time Magazine, dated March 21, 1969, popped up. It may have already been discussed at some point, but the search isn't working at the moment. found my answer. the magical police package maverick was a four door with black and white paint. 250 motor. nothin special about it really
I saw something about the cop mav package in a magazine my uncle had. I'll have to ask if he still has it. If i remember correct, it didn't go over too well.
