i have a 71 grabber with a new 351w in it and i noticed i don't get any traction. so i was thinking about getting bigger tires and some new rims but my question is should i wait and do a 5 lug conversion or get some 4 lug rims?? which would be stronger???

Well, going with a 5 lug rearend itself is not going to get you the traction you need but it would be foolish to stay with the 4 lug setup. Definitely go 5 lug and then work on your traction problem with tires and wheels, gears, and maybe some type of traction bars. (y)

You'll find there are a lot more wheels available for the 5 lug pattern. Why spend the money twice. Wait for the 5 lug setup. Gears, traction bars and good sticky tires will solve the traction problems. Is it an automatic? If so a higher torque convertor will help also.:)
