75 turn signal question

    on my turn signals which wires are just lights?

    i have black which i already know its ground

    and i have possiable brown or dirty red

    and white with blue strip

    which one isnt turn signal?

    i hooked it up to a battery and the brown one is BRIGHT! and the white with blue is much dimmer

    By looking at this diagram http://www.maverickcomet.com/Wiring/MavWiring/1975/1975mainMav.pdf

    it looks like you should have a brown, black, and white-lt blue on one side and brown, black, and lt green-white on the other side. The brown wires are also tied in to your marker lights. So what I can gather is that the two 2 colored wires are your signals and the brown wires are just parking lights. Hope this helps, Dan

    p.s. Thanks for calling my attention to this, as I was looking at my '74 I found one of my bulbs wasn't working

    yeah with the brown wire the light is BRIGHT :cool: i though that was it, but wasent sure
