Anybody used PST front end kits. I was looking at their site today, looks like a good product at a good price, any feed back would be great.

the only advice on this i have is dont use the polyurethane bushings on the strut rods. theyare too stiff and over time can cause the strut rod to brake.

yep. their polygraphite bushings are polyurethane with graphite infused into them. their really isnt much rubber that can be replace with poly in these cars. the strut rods need the flexibility of rubber. the lower control arm bushing can be changed and sway bar bushings can be changed. also the rear leaf spring bushings can be changed. the upper control arm uses metal bushings.

I can mirror what Bryant has said ... I installed the PST kit, and it helped firm things up. I broke a strut rod (at 5 mph mercifully) about 2 years later. The rod had cracked some time prior ... rust in the crack ... before it finally snapped. It could have been a very ugly crash if it happened any other way. A speed bump did it in.

I would do the PST kit, and if you can afford it, get roller spring perches and fully-adjustable strut rods (they have rod ends on the chassis side). If sticking with the stock strut rods, definitely use rubber bushings.

Perhaps I need to clarify ... I have the polygraphite kit and feel that it is a real benefit, but substitute the standard strut rod bushings ... or get the sexy ones with the rod ends (much better ...).
