I was looking at possibly building an NHRA stocker with a stick but NHRA doesn't show a standard transmission in 76 or 77. I should re-phrase this, they only show an automatic transmission carb in 76 &77.
    Thanks for the info.

The Master Parts Catalog is showing parts for a 76-77 Maverick manual transmission.

I'd think at the least they were still available for the '76 Stallion... Anyone remember seeing one??

A local guy here has a 77 that supposedly came with a manual. I'll get him to check transmission code for me tonight, on his data sticker if it's still there.

The brake pedal arm got changed to the left side of the steering column late in the run (76 or 77). But the one that I was getting parts from was an automatic.

The interior shot of the Stallion looks like the pedals in the earlier cars. Makes me wonder if they reverted back to that on late stick cars.

If fords parts catalog showes std shift parts/transmissions for 77 mavericks/comets...NHRA should allow the trans in the stock class. Gonna have to conferr with a proper NHRA tech rep to know for sure.
