Lug Pattern & Size?

I wanna purchase a nice set of rims for my maverick but I don't know the size of the bolt circle is it 5 x 4-1/2" or 5 x 4-3/4" ?

 

Ford = 5 x 4-1/2"

 

5 x 4-1/2" for Mavericks...

 

don't forget if you want to go with a wider tire to check the backspacing of the rims also.

 

And dont forget to get rims with center holer big enough to fit over spindle on front of disc brake car, you dont want to learn this leeson the hard way

 

I am off to the salvage yard to get wheels big enough to fit over my new disc brake conversion. Mean while my car is up on jackstands

Mopars use the same bolt circle, so if your looking for used rims, check the classifieds for both fords and mopars.

Edit- Stay away from early Darts, they use a goofy 5 on 4 1/4 bolt circle.

 

I run slicks on a set of Mopar rims they have a nice 4 1/2 backspace, tuck the wheels into the wells nicely

 

Ii was real lucky. I found 4 Shelby Cal. Aluminum rims. I got them and a rear view mirror for $85.

 

Now I have to replace all the studs as the aluminum rims are much thicker than the steel ones. There is barely enough stud to get the nuts on

 

Are you sure the wheels don't require a shanked lug nut?
