Glad it worked out, you wouldn't believe how long it took me to chase that down in the pre-internet days!

I dread to think about it! I've been on this for a few months so far, granted I know just about nothing about working on cars (we all start somewhere, I suppose), but this quest has previously produced a shrug and a frown from a mechanic shop. Gotta say, I'm extremely impressed at how quickly I got on the right track here. Wish I'd posted a few months back!

So, finally got the turn signal switch swapped out and.....still got issues.

Indicators won't blink and I can't get my brake lights to light up at all.

    Any thoughts?

    You have a bad ground.

That'd prevent the indicators from flashing as well?

What part did you put in there? Was it the complete switch with harness similar to this?

Figured I'd give the ground a shot and that was exactly it. Once I sorted out the drivers side ground the entire back end plus the flashers worked just like they were supposed to. I'm 100% road worthy again. Thanks all!
