Got the mav on the road and tonight took our first moonlight drive..Well every thing was fine until I used my turn signal.. The signal would light up but would not blink..When I got home turned off the headlights and the signal would blink fine but with the headlights on it would just light up and not blink..This was with both left and right turn signal...Seems to be a low voltage problem but where would I start I am lost on this one..

Probably a grounding problem. They always do weird things.

Look at the ground for the turn signals it seems to be grounding through the headlights.

It's probably one of your front turn signals. Since they get their ground through the bracket that connects to the bumper, that connection can be lost if corrosion occurs between the bracket and bumper. (I'm talking about the early style front turn signals..the later ones in the grille have a separate ground wire I believe).

Are the turn signal lamps on when the lights are on?

If that is the case, you could be feeding the 12V signal from the headlights back through the blinker circuit, which would make them on all the time. The dash light would be solid on when you engage the switch. The "flasher" box in the fuse block relies on a voltage difference between the 12V supplied to it and the load on the lamp. If there are 12V on both sides of the flasher, then there is no voltage difference to make the flasher work.

Since you just did a resto, I would check to make sure that the blinker circuit is seperate from the headlights and marker lamps.
