In the Episode of the Canadian sketch comedy show SCTV called "Walter Cronkite's brain" In the scene where Dave Thomas (As Cronkite) peels out and speeds down the street in a Corvette there is a (I think) 4 door brown Maverick parked alone on the street. I can't remember if it's a 2 or 4 door, but I remember it was brown. By the way- for the uninitiated- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_City_Television
I think it's not on TV anywhere. I have 4 box sets. If you can find a way to see it, don't miss out. It's good stuff.
Me, too actually. My grandparents had a gigantic satellite dish and a descrambler when I was growing up. it is a really funny show. I think Bill Needle might be my favorite original character, but Count Floyd is great, too.
