It's amazing how so much can be implied with so much left out. I met with Jeff yesterday morning before he headed to Frank's. Mean 'ol Frank called Jeff and told him to quit talking to me and get on the road.
Sounds like fun... yall guys didnt invite Terry along to Et? I know for a fact he likes to et, i've et with him before
Terry would have loved to have been with them yesterday. But, he chose to be happy. We home school our kids and our home school group had a family party yesterday to start off the new school year. There were no men involved with the planning of this party obviously evidenced by the fact it was scheduled from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. My wife was one of the planners. Guess who went? I talked to my wife and the other two ladies who planned this and explained to them there was no mystery in why more husbands/fathers don't attend these family events. They killed the entire Saturday for doing any worthwhile projects. I don't think they got the message. "It's only two or three Saturdays a year." To a man who works Monday through Friday and goes to church on Sunday, every Saturday is his and he wants 'em all. If my wife don't read this, I can stay happy.
I spent the day ripping the 5.0/AOD out of an '86 LTD Crown Vic that's going to the crusher this week. Then wrapped a chain around the roof, hooked it to my grandpa's old motor home, and flipped the car completely upside down so I could get easy access to the exhaust and gas tank... That was fun Next Sunday I'll do the same thing again to an '85 Lincoln Town Car. Friday night I drove the Crown Vic to Blue Ridge to get supper (it's last meal... err, uhh.. last drive). On the way home, I felt like the Automotive executioner walking (driving) the condemned soul down it's last road, knowing good and well what would happen to it the next day. As I made a left turn onto Shady Grove Rd. and then a right turn into the driveway, it clicked off it's last mile, 146,171 miles. Less then 24 hours later it's laying upside down on it's roof with the engine, trans, wheels and brakes stripped off, and will be crushed Tuesday. Good times.
