I wasn't really planning on buying one of these but I got caught up in the moment. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200273265149 I have seen them sell for much more, so I feel happy. I hope I didn't out bid someone here. If I did, sorry.
They had it listed wrong. I was looking for a new dome light when I cam across it. I do have one question. Was this available on a 69.5? Not that it matters, I am just curious. I feel bad when I bid on stuff in the last ten seconds. I do feel like I stole it. It's like I am not playing by the rules, but I can't tell you how many times it has happened to me. Regardless, I am happy I won
well, i can't pm you. why i don't know. let me look at the house for that dome light. might be able to make you a hell of a deal on it.
well its not AS cool but i just won a gas cap off ebay for one cent http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270298858793
I almost stole that from you but decided not to spend money one something I have already. LOL Wouldn't that have been something.
Consolette. That's a funny word. I don't know why but it just sounds funny to me. I think I need some sleep.
Nice job finding that auction, mis-listed as it was. It is called sniping ... don't feel bad about it, that is how a lot of heavily-contested auctions end on eBay. Some auctions, I have been 1 of 10 people stabbing it at the last minute. My philosophy about bidding on eBay is that I am either the one of the first bidders or the last bidder. If the price is super-low and little activity, I throw a comfortable bid at it. If there are already a number of bidders interested, then there is no sense in driving the price up ... snipe away. Tony, With regard to the gas cap ... here is a neat trick for to make that lens look better ... try using Future acrylic floor treatment. Set the cap up horizontally, because Future self-levels and pour just enough in there to make a layer about 1/16 of an inch thick. You might be surprised how much better it looks.
