I mixed up some JB Weld and pour inside the by-pass port.

i have re-plumbed it all together different sence then...:bouncy:

are both outlets the same size on the bottom of the pump?

then they are for...radiator hoses...not heater hose hookups. :yup:

i went to Summit (with Jeff) and had them pull one of every brand of E/W/Ps they had. i was looking for one to run on the street w/heater...
they had two brands that would do that....most E/W/Ps are for "drag cars" that don't have heaters.
Jeff can tell you, we went around and around for about 3-4 days before i settled on one that would work...and it has a large and small hole. we (Summit) called the different brand companys to find out the ones that would work with a heater.
Jeff has the same one in his Falcon...:yup: it took 4-5 trips to Summit just to get the right fittings. in the end we took Jeffs car up there and the salesman went out into the parking lot to match up what Jeff had...and still got it wrong...

    good luck

I drilled 3 holes 3/16" each. Total of 9/16" flow. I wish I tried 1/8" holes because it takes a long time to warm up in the winter. I like for it to run at 180* but most I see in the colder days is 160*.

Frank, I forgot to look. :slap: When ever I wasn't looking at the flex plate I was looking at the coilovers...or sway bar...or crank pulley. Too much to eye candy to digest in one day.

I think that's the key to this whole issue.

Thanks for all your help. I got it figured out. I call Proform Tech Help and they told me to tap in with a tee into the lower radiator hose then run it up to the hose going into the heater valve and T it in to the elbow going into the water neck.

    Again Thanks

Why tap into the lower radiator hose when you have an unused port on the water pump now? Use this unused port (on the water pump) to feed the heater core and the 90* elbow on the intake manifold for the heater return. To delete the by-pass hose drill 3 holes in the thermostat so coolant can circulate while it's waiting on the thermostat to open. Don't forget to plug the by-pass hose nipple on the thermostat housing.
