Oulled into the local 7-11 to grab a cup of coffee and right behing me pulled in one of the small 2 seater Mercury Capri convertibles like this [IMG]witha father and son in it with the top down as I got out of the Maverick they both checked it out and when I came back out the Father was still sitting in the Capri and spoke up and said with a chuckle, "When we pulled in here behind you I told my Son, Wow look at that nice Mach 1 Mustang"

To that I chuckled and said not quite, just a nice little 6 cyl Maverick. He said something to the affect of well it's pretty close to a Mach 1 and just as nice.

Not anything special really just a welcom change from the "pinto, Vega" comments we all normally get...LOL

Niiice. Sounds like he's a true believer in need of a Maverick of his own..... :thumbs2: (BTW my wife likes convertibles but thinks the Capri looks literally like a toy.)

I did, I said "Isn't that one of those Capris?" when he said yes I said well they are definetly few are far between. You probably see less of them then you do Maverick. hahaha

I then mumbled "for a good reason" under my breathe as I drove away..LOL J/K

Honestly, IMO, a pat on the back deserves a pat back, of some sort anyway. :)
Don't you just enjoy how people you don't even know wave and gauk as they drive by? Some people (usualy guys) act like there your buddie if a crowd forms (3+= crowd).

My grandfather drove a Bobcat around town and a H-U-G-E yellow Country Squire woody wagon for trips.
