    73 maverick (4=doors 3=on the tree 2=barrels 1=daily driver)
    hi im chad and i just got a 73 maverick from my brother. he bought it for $600 and it is completely original and in great working order (exept for shifting). it has a 2 barrel 302 with three on the tree. interior (brown leather, bench seats) is mint exept for the drivers arm rest is pulling away from door panel. original paint from 73 (faded yellow) and all the chrome trim rust free exept bumpers and small area on hood. 2nd/3rd gear collar is broken so i only have 1st and reverse but man is first gear fun! i had the clutch rebuilt by a friend at mr. gasket (pressure plate = long style w/ all new hayes hardware and springs, mr. gasket clutch plate, mr. gasket heavy duty race style trhrowout bearing) and installed it 2 days ago. i will be restoring and possibly beafing up this car at my shop and look forward to all the help and suggestions i can get. thnx in advance and i will have pics up in my first topic in a few days (tommorow or the day after).
