well now that my waterpump dilema is over what pullys should i use i have both serpentine or single groove v-belt. thanks john
i like serpentine belts. more contact area and less slippage, and they usually look a little better. you also have more pullies selections when it comes to chrome, aluminum and/or underdrive ones
but david i just got the single groove pullys you helped me find today. j/k i know there are a lot of benifits to running serp. but i like the old school too. mine would just be a 3 pully set up no p/s or ac
i think the same way. must be the generation gap coming into play between us and the "old folks" Like Ray.......
I like the serpentine look. Thats what I run on my Sprint and will hopefully figure out a set up for the Comet GT. Here is a good websight to get you in the ball park once you know what length and number of ribs you need. http://www.mvreader.com/multiview/d...ltsSearch.y=19&bgDimPolyCogBeltsSearch=Search
If you are going to make the rest of the car look old school ... V-belts. If you are more into function ... serpentine.
