    I am sure many of you are waiting for the screen shot of the final amount of the money that I would donate to the Salvation Army. The reason for the delay is that I still have not received all the money owing yet. I have been assured that I would receive the money soon, so I went ahead and made a donation if $1,114.00. $624.00 was raised through auctions and $490 through supporting membership subscriptions.

    I want to thank everyone who contributed in various ways to make this possible! :)

    I just realized that I made the donation in CDN while I collected in USD. According to xe.com, $1,114.00 USD converts to $1,192.59 CDN, the amount I should have donated initially. The difference of $1,192.59 CDN - $1,111.00 CDN is $78.59 CDN. I rounded the amount to $80.00 CDN and made another donation.

    Every year I watch this group of folks on the board, and each year I am more proud of each and every one of you. We seem to be a group that not only has a healthy respect for each other, but a lot of compassion for folks less fortunate than ourselves. Congratulations to us all, and especially to Stefan, who keeps this the premier board on the net, and a great place for us to gather. :burnout:
