Got a new cheapie scanner (my old one died) and I've been scanning some old pics. Here's some of my old Maverick stuff

My pastel blue 1970 Maverick in 1983 (and I still have it) after my great grandmother gave it to me and I threw on some 4 to 5 lug adapters and some Mustang wheels. It only had 6000 miles on it.

It had sagged to one side from sitting in here garage all of those years so I yanked some Granada leaf springs to put under it....this is what a Maverick looks like with Granada springs in the rear :naughty:

    Behold the plaid

This is my high school girlfriends ride

I married her and fixed this up for her to drive in the early 90s

My 75 that I put small bumpers on around 1991

My little Maverick now...it will look better soon

Mavericks have been a huge part of my life. My dad got one in 1970 that I sort of grew up in. Great granny and granny both had 2dr Mavericks. All of the stuff above....but then I had kids in 1991. All projects have been on hold. Now I'm starting to get freed up.

They used to make them years ago, but I haven't seen them offered lately. They are about 1" thick aluminum and you bolt them on and they adapt to 5 lugs. They seems kind of cheesy but I had no problems with them.

    Clarksville...just west of Nashville

That's my old 64 Cyclone drag car. I found it in a barn where it had been sitting since the early 70s. Someone had put Caliente trim on it but thatnkfully they didn't drill too many holes. Step 1 is filling those holes.
