left this morning and headed to Somerset, KY. Visited with the Hahn boys for a couple hours. Got a sneak peak at their new maverick they are building and all I can say is WOW!!! Will be one of (if not) the trickest maverick out there. Definitely some brain cells used and lost during this build. Really looking forward to seeing the finished peice. If you have had the furtune of seeing either of their cars that are finished you will understand what I mean. Then went to E-town and hung with Frahler for a while. Got to really check out his carbon fiber "paint" and it is too cool! Looks like the real thing....my man Frahler gots talent! So to say the least I have had a great day!!!
How was it? Was it everything you remembered it to be..it's usually a very amazing experience, to spend time cruising in the car you built.
I thought about taking some pictures Barry and I guess I did but they were all mental images. Dave, I guess I should have been more specific, I was in my truck for 2 reasons; 1) it's too hot and I love AC. 2) While at Frahler's I was picking up a roof to take to Joplin......don't think that would have fit in PINKY's trunk
He sent some pictures of that stuff. Absolutley incredible! Like you said, it was impossible to tell it wasn't real carbon fiber. I would love to have him paint something for me some day. What an artist!!!!
if it was not for knowing I was getting the roof I would have took the maverick. It was only 250 miles round trip, would have been a good test
