73 comet cyclone

    what is the difference between a comet and a comet cyclone .we bought a running car today it says comet but has cyclone on it also,it has a boss 302 in it built in mexico ,just kiddin, but seriously did someone stick this cyclone on or is there a 73 comet cyclone :bananaman:bananaman:bananaman

    Cyclone emblems might be worth something to someone. Just a thought if you decide to take them off.

    There was such a thing in the 60's but I believe in 69 or 70 they had a mercury cyclone which used the larger body similar to the torino formal hardtop. I have a hot wheel of a 70 mercury cyclone.

    But a 71-72 Comet Cyclone with the standard Boss 351 and 4 speed would have been pretty sweet if they'd made it. Probably one of the fastest Mercs of the 60s & 70s (as far as factory production for retail sales goes).
