Hello guys, am trying to decide two things for my mav 73.

First one the color and the second one is the external view.

I saw one maverick with a stang hood scoop, grabber rear spoiler and frontal spoiler i share with you some pics.

    What do you think??

I found a Cougar 69 elimator hood scoop, is the same in the comet gt for about $40 dls and also the rear spoiler all the pieces for $92 dls, the best all original in good shape without cracks and repairs.

And the last thing, i am not sure about the color do not know if i want a orange, red or blue all grabber colors.

But i was thinking to do something different with my Mav

    like this??

I've got a 73 also and have done most of what you've listed. Not being able to afford a grabber hood but liking the double scoop look I found a couple from a mid 60's Ford Fairlaine GT. Cool thing about double hood scoops is that you get to go through a lot of head scratching about how to mount them. Side by side, on the raised part of the hood, on the flat outside part of the hood, how far apart, etc. etc.:hmmm:

I like the Silver w/ Red stripes. I just personally like light color cars, easier to see after dark and easier to keep clean.

I like the grabber hood but i want to keep with the 73 without grabber hood and integrating the hood scoop.

BTW looks great those large hood scoops

    Cheers

The black one is nasty. Maybe a bit dated though with all that painted trim and chrome. The wheels kind of freshen it up. Interesting mix of styles.:thumbs2:

I like to follow the rounded shape of the car with a similar hood scoop.

I've actually contemplated doing my Comet like this with a "Cobra" theme. I like it.(y)
