i want to know how many people have lowered there ride any if so how much and wat size rims are u running lets see sum pics
Mine is low in front. 14 inch rims with 205/70-14 tires...6 3/4" from bottom of front cross member(forward strut rod mount) to ground and 241/8" from fender lip to ground. Not super low but has a nice rake to it. Headers are 4" from bottom of collectors to the ground. It has settled a bit since this pic was taken. (Stock 200 6 cyl coils up front)
stock sagging springs in the rear and 1.5 coils cut off the front. 165x15s in the front and 275/60-15 rears
ok no to be off subject but bryant your paint job is sick man thats exactly how i wanna do mine, what you use??? and how much???
ya its just a black primer. traded some diff work for it. the car is inside almost all the time. i was told if its left out in the sun it will fade after awhile. i
Go to a John Deere dealer and buy some Blitz Black. It's a matte black paint that holds up very well.
Just now getting mine together....all stock stuff but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lower the rear 1". VW tires on the frt skinnys and 2256015s on the rear.
When I installed the 302 in my car, I cut 1/2 coil off the the stock 6cyl springs and left them in. That dropped the front about 1" - 1 1/4". The rear has 1" lowering blocks installed. The wheels are 15x6.5 in front and 15x7 in the rear. I'm really happy with the stance. I tend to like my cars a few inches lower than stock ride height.
Fox Mustang springs in the front with about 2 1/4 coils cut. Maybe 3" drop from stock, and very firm. Econoline van springs in the back with 2" blocks. Also very firm. The blocks help clear the disc brakes on the back too. 233/45/17 tires all around. Car corners and stops so well it's almost taken the fun out of it.
