I know of two others for sure where I'm at. One looks like a very solid small bumper car that just sits in the drive. The house it's at just went on the market so I've thought about seeing if the car is available as well but I really don't need another one! The other I posted some pics of in another thread, I wan't to see it since it has air-ride and looks sweet.

here in mexico is very hard to find parts for the mavericks, many people have to buy cars in the junkyard just to find some useful pieces, often only on the Internet can be found and the cost is very expensive ....

I found my complete parts car a month ago at a farm machinery aution. Same year and color as mine. Including a set of painted magnum 500 wheels and reclining bucket seats. I have restored the wheels and put them on my car for the winter. The tires were good to. How often can you drive your parts car home?:drive:

You're lucky...I had to replace the fuel pump and adjust the points from .25 down to .025 before I drove mine home.

Yeah Georgia is special. Some sort of juxtaposition of cosmic forces that science doesn't understand has made Georgia the last Maverick stronghold. It's like the migration of the monarch butterfly. Two continents' worth of them all eventually end up in that one small spot to breed and nobody knows why. There are more MMB members from Georgia than from any other state or province by a wide margin, and many of them have a whole pile of these cars. Georgia is the Bermuda Triangle of Ford Mavericks.

Either that or they just don't ever throw anything away down there and they are all a bunch of hoarders.

...because it's absolutely true. You laugh until you really think about it. Then it becomes creepy.

theres there are only 4 here in my area. a buddy of mine has two, a grabber and a base modle he's runs around in every now and then and takes to the track, a girl at the tat parlor across town has a light yellow one, and mine we meet up every now and then as an un-official club lol. ther was a four door in town but i havnt seen it for about 4 years now.

im scrambling trying to get mine up and running again before this movie comes out just in case they become super popular and prices for parts go through the roof lol:rofl2:
