You have a nice car to start with. I'm guessing we are going to see a very nice looking little Comet, come July. Looking forward to seeing it.
thanks everybody..heres some pics of what i did today... got some steelies sandblasted earlier this week primed the steelies with acid etch primer before the steelies after the steelies, traction bars and aired up air shocks
i really didnt care for the sst's personally, plus they were in bad shape with rust...the front drivers side wouldnt hold air(i had to air it up to drive it to the shop this morning). i was pretty happy with the look of the steelies. when i get the front end down it will look alot better.
Nice project. I had its Maverick brother. Changed my look a bit but I still like the light blue color. I would have kept the color if it didnt have so many touch ups and dents. So off it came and now shes Grabber Blue.
Is your gas cap tight? Looks like it's not clocked all the way, or it doesn't match the filler neck indents.
darren i really like the looks of your car and thats kinda the route i wanna go with mine. i watched your youtube video and really liked how you kept everthing simple and clean. im keeping the grabber blue a possibility for color when i repaint cause im not really in love with the factory blue
to be completely honest i havent even had it off yet since i got the car..but i might go down in the garage and to a peek
I like the light "factory" blue, or something similiar. The color is not on many cars, at least the ones I've seen. To put it another way, "it's different", partly the reason, many of us have these cars. Whatever u decide my Comet brethern - Im sure it will be vry nice. .
Jordan, I kind of thought you looked pretty good on SSTs.I know those are really centerlines but they look close.
