I would if I were going. Should be several people willing to give you a hand. We had several parking lot projects last week. Electric fans, brake line leak, carb adjustments, plug changes etc.

Somebody will be able to help you out. Just today we had a how-to clinic on how to remove the trim from around the door openings and the trim from the rain gutters. More clinics on tap this week.

Set the choke so that it just closes when completly cold. I'm guessing you know to re-jet it by going up and down on jets sizes and reading your plugs. On the vacuum secondary, if you "feel" the secondarys come in like a kick in the pants, the spring is too heavy. Change to a lighter spring untill you don't "feel" it anymore. The secondays should come in progressivly for optimum proformance. Just don't go too light that it doesn't come in. The float level is a play as you go adjustment for me. Too high, and you flood it. Too low, and you get lag. Good luck. By the way, adjust the choke when the seasons change.

And you drive it in weather like that ? It gets down to the 20's here and I have no trouble starting any of my carbed vehicles at that temperature, even without a choke.

its hard to tell by smell a lean car will smell bad also, you want the plug tan colored, and look for a timing line on the strap of the plug ,and the heat range about 2 to 3 threads up on the plug

Well after i finnished the front break job and repacking the weel bearings I did the spark plug check and as i thought its running to rich, but its to late to get jets for it so i will have to wait till we get back from Dearborne to play with it.
