i'm new to this site and am big into mustangs and was looking for a 1969 mach 1 and almost got it but it fell thru at last minute and with 5 kids the money disappeard and i had the chance to buy a 1970 maverick light green without a motor in it but package deal came with a 1965 170 i6 and c4 out of a comet . so i bought it its rust free on the out side and the engine compartment and frame rails are spotless just like new wich is rare but the guy left the windows down and it rotted out both back floor pans. so i have the motor in it right now i just need exhaust,gas tank and line, radiator,shifter linkages, and it should run plus there is a few minor stuff missing like driver door panel, grille odds ends also what is the color of the medium green this car is. will keep updated when i get it running has not mover under its own power since early 1980s
Welcome from a fellow 70 owner. Tanks gonna be tough. The 70 was different and is not made anymore. I had mine redone. Enjoy the car!
Me too .............. If you have the old tank, look into a company called RENU .... expensive but you will get a tank that will last another 42 years. What part of Michigan? Oh, and we love pictures here .... post some of your car!
