Dash Warning Sticker

Would there be any purpose in trying to remove this without destroying it? I will eventually will be restoring/dyeing the dash pad and I remember some talk about this warning on the dash but don't know if it's worth saving. I won't be putting it back on that's for sure.

 

Wonder if that was a recall??

 

It had something to do with some cars going into gear while at idle.

 

I've seen them on a few cars, I doubt it's anything worth saving.

 

ive had a bunch of cars with that sticker... and ive seen it in various places inside of the car

 

Pretty sure this sticker is repopped.

 

I've got one on my 70.

Wow! I remember hearing about this, but I've never seen the sticker. My '71 Comet was purchased new by my Grandfather. When I was a kid, I noticed it had a slight paint color difference on one fender. My Grandfather said it was only a few months old when he left it running one day and it jumped into gear and crashed into someone's mobile home.

 

Mine has it right but it is on the lower dash tray next to the radio.
